Sri Lankan star, stylish and aggressive left-hander and an accomplished wicketkeeper, Kusal Perera has built his career on fearless strokeplay, quick reflexes and the ability to change the game within a flash. Since making his debut in the Lankan squad, he has been a familiar face at the top of the order across formats. He further brings years of experience and proven T20 pedigree to the MI Emirates setup.

He has been part of the Blue and Gold #OneFamily since the franchise’s title winning campaign in season 2 and has played a vital role in the team’s success over the last few seasons. Perera’s mantra has been simple… see the ball, hit the ball a long way out of the park and put the pressure on the opposition. In his ILT20 career, he has played 21 matches, scored 527 runs with a SR-142.04.
