If there is one word that sums up Muhammad Waseem, it is ‘explosive’. A fearless opener who loves taking the attack back to the opposition, Waseem has built a reputation as one of UAE’s most destructive batters in recent times. Turning back the clock, he holds the record of the joint fastest fifty in the T10 league off just 12 balls. He qualified to play for the UAE in 2021 and then earned his national call up ahead of the T20 World Cup. Within the next six months, he notched up two T20I centuries to his name. His power hitting style adds another layer of firepower to the Blue and Gold batting line up. It is a homecoming for him. Expect entertainment at its best when Waseem walks out to bat, with the ball sailing a huge distance out of the park. In his ILT20 career he has played 46 matches and scored 1241 runs.
